To prevent lock in of content repositories, a new standard has emerged: The Java Content Repository (JCR) standard, developed in the standard groups JSR-170 (for JCR 1.0) and JSR-283 (for JCR 2.0).

Apart from the open nature of the Java Content Repository that is supported natively by the platform, there is a large set of integration features available in GX WebManager. Among them is an open Service Bus. Support for the JSR-168 portlet specification ensures  smooth integration with your enterprise portal environment. Content stored in the content repository can be reused on multiple Websites. The Content Repository and WebManager features both multi language support (MLS) and native language support (NLS).
