GX WebManager editions

With our Outside-in vision we try to map our content management system, GX WebManager, to the markets we serve as well as possible. To do so we bring various editions to the market. At this moment there are two editions but more will follow in the future. These will be mainly segment focused. The two editions we have now are for production use by our end customers (the Enterprise Edition) and at developers (the free Community Edition), which enables the creation of add-on components, WebManager Component Bundles (WCB’s).

The Enterprise Edition is for Enterprises, public institutions and other organizations that need a web content management system that is professionally supported by GX or one of our partners.

The free available Community Edition, including the Software Development Kit, is aimed at developers. This edition is supported by the GX DeveloperWeb community. The goal of this community is to realize the full potential of GX WebManager and to add functionality in the form of WebManager Component Bundles (WCB’s). You can download this free Community Editions from GX Developerweb. There you will also find a forum, documentation and blogs from recognized developers.
